Confucian Philosophy and Cultivation

Learn about Confucian philosophy and how to apply it in the 21st century.

As the world becomes increasingly senseless, there is more of a need to realize a philosophy that will help one through difficult and unstable times. The philosophical school of Ru (or “Confucianism,” as most commonly known in English) is the perfect philosophy to learn for the family-oriented human being. Learn from Master Shon, Confucian scholar, on what this philosophy means and how to apply it.

We will go through the ideas in the Four Books of philosophical thought (The Great Learning, The Analecs, Mencius, and the Doctrine of the Mean).

We welcome persons of all religious backgrounds to attend this class. As a moral philosophy, the teachings of Confucius do not require any particular religious beliefs.

Requirements: Must be a higher school graduate.
